Using Creative Pens

Notebook software's Creative Pen tool lets you add colorful and engaging elements to your presentations. Draw a line of rainbow colors, smiling faces, stars, and more. You can select a Creative Pen from the toolbar menu .

Some examples of Notebook software's Creative Pens

To create freehand objects with the Creative Pen tool

1. Press the Creative Pen toolbar button .
   
   OR
   
   Select Draw > Creative Pen.
   
   The pointer changes to a pen when you move it over the whiteboard area.

2. Use your finger to write or draw on the interactive screen. If you're working at your desktop computer, use the mouse.

3. To return to left-mouse mode, press the Select button .
   
   OR
   
   Select Draw > Select.

NOTE: Although you can use Creative Pens to write words, those words can't be converted into typed text with the handwriting recognition feature.

After you've drawn a freehand object with the creative pen, you can select it and change the line thickness.
